PHNXX Expands into the U.S. with Modular Microgrids Solutions
PHNXX partners with California-based Paired Power to expand into the U.S., advancing modular microgrid and off-grid power solutions.

Expanding into the U.S.
We’re proud to announce our expansion into the United States, marking a key milestone in our mission to make clean, reliable, and decentralised power accessible anywhere.
We’ve partnered with California-based Paired Power to bring together complementary expertise and help establish our beachhead presence in the U.S. market. Paired Power’s affiliation with McCalmont Engineering — a firm that has delivered a significant share of U.S. solar and battery-storage projects — brings deep experience in modular EV-charging and intelligent energy-management systems.
Together, we’re advancing modular clean-energy solutions that can be adapted and deployed across international markets, expanding opportunities for rapid, sustainable, and scalable power delivery.
Designed and Manufactured for Global Standards
As a Melbourne-based company, all our engineering design and quality management are undertaken in Australia to ensure every system is fully designed and certified to comply with international standards.
For systems deploying into the United States, we are exploring the potential for full manufacturing within the U.S., integrating Paired Power’s battery and control systems to meet local requirements. For Australian and other international projects, we continue to manage full system manufacturing and integration through our local team and partner manufacturers in China — maintaining flexibility, reliability, and quality across every project.
Built for Efficiency, Reliability, and Speed
Each PHNXX system is fully pre-assembled and tested at the factory prior to shipping. This allows the modules to be deployed on-site by a small crew of two to three people, becoming fully operational within hours.
Our systems are scalable, flexible, and ideal for reducing diesel use in off-grid or temporary applications such as:
- Dairy farms and irrigation systems in agriculture
- Camps and site power for construction and mining
- Static and mobile setups for defence, emergency response, and disaster recovery
- Power supply for remote and edge-of-grid communities
The systems are cheaper to operate than diesel across their lifespan, delivering long-term savings without a green premium. With minimal site works required, they also avoid complex permitting and land remediation after use, while improving health and safety by eliminating diesel exhaust exposure.
Proven Performance in Australia
We’ve deployed systems across regional Victoria and New South Wales, primarily within dairy, irrigation, and community-resilience projects. These deployments demonstrate how our modular stand-alone power systems (SAPS) deliver reliable, low-cost energy across diverse industries and operating conditions.
Each project serves as proof of how decentralised power can support critical operations, reduce running costs, and enhance energy security — all with minimal maintenance and downtime.
Expanding Reach and Opportunities
Looking ahead, we see growth in both geography and reach, including the introduction of rental and lease options for clients with temporary or project-based power needs.
We’re building partnerships beyond Victoria and New South Wales to reach a wider range of clients operating in remote, off-grid, and edge-of-grid environments. Remote communities remain a major focus for us, as we’re committed to ensuring equitable access to clean, reliable power at fair prices.
Beyond expanding into the U.S. with Paired Power, we’re also working with local partners to extend our footprint across all Australian states and territories, as well as into neighbouring markets in the Pacific Islands and Southeast Asia.
Defence, emergency response, and disaster-relief applications are key growth areas, particularly as extreme weather events become more frequent and resilient power becomes critical to maintaining essential services.
Serving the Australian Market and Beyond
Australia presents a unique mix of challenges and opportunities for decentralised clean energy — challenges we are uniquely positioned to address as an Australian company. Outside major cities, infrastructure is often limited, energy costs are high, and many regions are remote, making energy independence essential through the use of distributed energy resources (DERs).
While strong government support and abundant solar resources make Australia an ideal environment for renewable generation, a “missing middle” remains — those unable to access clean power through the grid.
Our modular stand-alone systems bridge that gap. They balance clean generation, storage, and backup capability to ensure energy resiliency with zero interruptions to operations, 24/7. Through this model, we’re helping industries and communities transition away from fossil fuels and toward sustainable, long-term power independence.
Looking Forward
Our partnership with Paired Power and expansion into the U.S. represent an exciting next step in bringing modular, stand-alone power systems to a global audience. By combining local expertise with international collaboration, we’re continuing to advance our goal of delivering clean power anywhere, anytime.
